Best, the second-highest FSR on a scale that runs from A++(Superior) to D (Poor). As a surplus lines insurer, Crum & Forster is not subject to financial solvency regulation and enforcement applicable to other states’ licensed insurers and claims and  assets are not covered by the states’ guaranty association funds.
